Gallup Strengths-based Philosophy

More and more people know their Talents and Strengths.

You’re different from the people around you. In fact, you’re so unique that the chances of having the same top five talents as someone else are around 1 in 275,000. The chance of having the same top 5 talents in the same the order is 1 in 33 million.

Thanks to your talents, your experiences and the environment, you look at life in a unique way. Many people think they must be exactly like someone else, whether it’s a celebrity, some other successful person or someone we know and admire. But trying to be someone else doesn’t work. Becoming who you already are is the key to success (Don Clifton & Gallup).

Who you are is the gift you received from birth - you are born with a set of neuronal talents that no one else has. Turning unique talent into strength requires skill, knowledge, diligent effort, and deliberate action - all of this relates to matters that are important to you.

Identify your talents and personal as well as professional development directions during an individual session with the coach.

1. Diagnosis of Talents

Contemporary knowledge about man confirms that everyone is talented in something (Gut, Piegowska & Wójcik 2008). Everyone has a different set of talents.

2. Developing Strengths

Gallup researchers emphasize that talent is not yet a strength. Only: Talent + Knowledge + Skills = Strength (Buckingham & Clifton 2004).

3. Living with intrinsic motivation

It seems that when I do "something" for which I use my talents, I do it perfectly and it comes very easily to me. I use my personal energy optimally, I have internal motivation and my talent "gives me wings".

4. Building Self Awareness

Knowing your talents means "I know what I'm made for." It makes us aware that our actions using talents guarantee success and build a high level of commitment with intrinsic motivation.

5. Managing Yourself

Self-management is a conscious use of personal resources in the best for us, i.e. economic and ecological way (Gut, Piegowska & Wójcik 2008). It is also making informed decisions about the directions of personal changes and the allocation of personal resources in order to implement these changes.

6. The Green Path

The Green Path is a philosophy of life, guided by the principle that each of us is unique and exceptional (Gut & Gut 2016). It is therefore worth getting to know and develop your natural potential for health, joy and comfort of life.
