The CliftonStrengths assessment is a Web-based assessment of normal personality from the perspective of Positive Psychology. It is the first instrument of this type developed expressly for the Internet. Over a secure connection, the CliftonStrengths assessment presents 177 items to you. Each item consists of a pair of potential self-descriptors, such as “I read instructions carefully” versus “I like to jump right into things”. You are given 20 seconds to respond to a given pair of descriptors before the assessment automatically presents the next pair (Gallup 2020).
The duration of coaching session is 1,5H, we connect on Skype.
CliftonStrengths takes most people about 35-45 minutes to complete. It is the best when you can do it without any interruptions.
Development plan is a document prepared for your unique combination of talents that specifies the areas for self-development with concrete action plans market to which of the areas. Strategic (SMARTER: S-smart, M-measurable, A-attainable, R-realistic, T-timely, E-exciting, R- recorded) goals are set for the next year. The development plan is defining the scope of competences that are worth improving on the strengths. Estimating the opportunities and threats, when it will succeed and when it fails. Replacing the vision of the future with specific actions step by step.
The CliftonStrengths is a powerful online assessment that helps individuals identify, understand and maximize their strengths. By exploring the ways in which you naturally think, feel and behave, CliftonStrengths can identify and build on the areas where you have infinite potential to grow and succeed. It is especially useful when: you want to understand and manage yourself, you want to approach career change, you want to succeed and perform extraordinary well. The test transforms the way you think, live, love, parent, partner, manage and lead. Anytime it is appropriate to do a test, however when you start seeing gaps in any of the mentioned areas CliftonStrengths can bring fast solutions.
There are two options. I can buy a test code for you and send it to you by e-mail. I don’t charge extra for it, I just buy the code from Gallup and save your time. Of course, you can always buy the code yourself. I recommend discovering the Top 5 first to get to know and understand your dominant talents thoroughly. It is worth spending from 3 to 6 months to get to know and observe them. When you are sure you know and understand how your unique Top 5 combo works, decide to reveal the full 34 talent list. It is worth knowing that the test is performed only once. Therefore, please write down the login and password to the Gallup account, which you enter when registering on the website. If you already completed the test and you just want to schedule a coaching please contact me under personal enquiry as a code is always included in my models of cooperation.
Yes, I try to be as much flexible as I can.
In the early 1950s, Don Clifton, a popular psychologist and researcher at the University of Nebraska, began to wonder about how psychology described people. He noticed the fact that psychology has always observed what was “wrong” with people, both medically, psychologically and socially. However, only in very few cases did she describe what good happens to people and what they are perfect at. Don Clifton thought, “What would happen if we started describing what’s good about people instead of studying what’s wrong with them?” This simple question asked by Don Clifton decades ago started the global strengths movement (Clifton & Harter 2019). Don Clifton defined human tendencies as “naturally recurring patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that may find useful application.” Don wanted to identify those universal, yet practical, features that predicted real high-performance results. He also wanted to identify trends in people that are unique to each person, but which can also be developed in practice by building their strengths on them. By the mid-1990s, the meta analysis of all his research had combined into 34 distinct talents that successful people develop into their strengths. These talents outline the basic dimensions of human potential.
Children who are 15 or older — as well as adults — can take the CliftonStrengths assessment. For teenagers there is a test called Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer assessment. It is designed for kids 10 to 14 years old. If you have kids that are younger, parents should learn about the 10 Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer themes: Achieving, Caring, Competing, Confidence, Dependability, Discoverer, Future Thinker, Organizer, Presence and Relating. Next, parents can watch for clues to talent in their young children and use the Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer themes to categorize their observations. Click here to read more on StrengthsExplorer.
If you will not like the session and I will not meet your expectations, I will give you money back.
Your first completion of the CliftonStrengths will yield the purest and most revealing results. For this reason, each CliftonStrengths access code is valid for only one time through the assessment. Taking the CliftonStrengths more than once may actually decrease the accuracy of your results. However, when you went through a major life change (ex: moving to another country, marriage, divorce, substantial professional change) it is worth repeating the assessment.
Psychometric assessments are scientific tools that measure cognitive formation and function. That is why CliftonStrengths provides an extremely accurate identification of the talents present in an individual, pointing to his or her greatest potential. This is an interesting situation if you do not agree with the test results. This situation is best looked at during a coaching session. It is good to know that the first reaction, “I disagree with the test results” comes from the fact that the owner of the result misunderstands the definition of talent. Understanding the semantics of talent definition through the prism of the native language at times may be misleading. The goal of Gallup’s research was to create a universal, international language for the discipline of strengths. Therefore, understanding talents through the prism of the mother tongue may be insufficient.
Understanding your individual needs and objectives is the priority for me.
